StoryTelling:Europe!

StoryWalks für Publikum: Do 23.6. & Fr 24.6. 16.30 Uhr

Audio Station in the Brunnenpassage: from the 23rd of June until the end of September 2022 in the store*window of the Brunnenpassage

The Brunnenmarket is the longest street market in Europe with people from all over the world. In StoryTelling:Europe! stories and perspectives on a peaceful, diverse, future Europe are collected. Together with the artists Melika Ramić und Livia Heiß, the children visit store owners and workers at the Brunnenmarket. In small groups, they explore stores, pubs and market stalls to get to know the business and the people behind it, and invite the actors of the market for talks and interviews on biographical, both local and transnational topics. At the end of June, the students will present their experiences from this transmedial storytelling project to an audience in the form of StoryWalks. They guide the visitors to places at the Brunnenmarket, discover hidden stories and invent new ones together. We invite you to the walks where the stories can be heard through headphones and in person.

StoryTelling:Europe! will be further presented at an exhibition at the Volkskunde Museum Vienna in autumn this year.

StoryTelling:Europe! is an intergenerational and transcultural project that uses artistic means to foster a community as well as a dialogue about our future in a jointly shaped Europe. A production of the Brunnenpassage in the context of the European Pavilion
The StoryWalks are supported by European Cultural Foundation and OEAD.
