Zum Abschluss des Symposiums „Between Research and Activism: Futures of Music and Minority Studies“ an der MDW findet in der Brunnenpassage eine Party mit live DJ-Sets statt. Das Symposium am Music and Minorities Research Center (MMRC) steht im Zeichen engagierter Forschung, dialogischen Austauschs und kritischer Perspektiven auf Machtverhältnisse im Musiksektor – in diesem Sinne lädt der Abend alle Interessierten zum gemeinsamen Tanzen und Feiern ein.

DJ Sets: MZTAY (Spice Mixers) & قamareen (Raqsouna)

MZTAY is a Vienna-based DJ, artist, and cultural worker originally from Atlanta, Georgia, looking to bring out feelings of nostalgia, joy, reflection, and, of course, the need to move. They play with many genres, including alternative r&b, house, hip-hop, jazz, and bounce, among others.

Her sets take you on a musical journey where the lyrics are as important as the melody. With قamareen, every night is illuminated by the magic of two moons, ensuring a dancefloor experience.
