Encountering Oneself in Theatre with Svetlana Ivanov / So 9.10.2022, 14-17 pm

This workshop, lead by actress and theatre educator Svetlana Ivanov, starts from Grotowski‘s vision that art is a vehicle. Using theater skills and everyday actions such as attention and quality of energy, the participants will become conscious of their capacities, virtues and weaknesses. It will explore the connection between inner and outer world, images and reflections of the human being. In the frame of the workshop the participants will research different ways to discover this space in themselves, which is often forgotten in the accelerating rhythm of everyday life. This collaborative process tries to open up questions about life and the world, with the conviction that the development of the inner world helps a better understanding of reality and consequently the strengthening of one‘s „being in the world“.

Svetlana Ivanov is the founder of Studio Theater Kaleidoscope, her theatrical work follows the goal of expanding creative capacity and personal development through a focus on the quality of presence.

Participation in the workshop is open to everyone, previous experience is not necessary.
