Mit der ersten Cultural Transformation Movement (CTM) Peer*Learning*Group schaffen das Projektbüro D/Arts und die Brunnenpassage eine neue Initiative, um Künstler*innen und Kulturtätige in ihren (künstlerischen) Praktiken zu stärken und gemeinsame Lernprozesse zu initiieren. In monatlichen Präsenz-Treffen sowie Online-Sessions werden unterschiedliche Impulse, Skills und Vernetzungsmöglichkeiten mit lokalen und internationalen Expert*innen aus dem Kultursektor angeboten. In der CTM Peer*Learning*Group geht es darum, eigene Bedürfnisse zu artikulieren und über die geladenen Impulsgeber*innen gemeinsam in ein Power-Sharing zu kommen.
Dieser selbst-verantwortliche Prozess erstreckt sich über einen mehrmonatigen Zeitraum und richtet sich an Künstler*innen und Kulturarbeiter*innen, die von Diskriminierung im Kultursektor betroffen sind. Kulturtätige werden eingeladen zum Erfahrungsaustausch, gegenseitige Unterstützung und das Kennenlernen neuer Tools zur Navigation durch die Kunst- und Kulturlandschaft sowie für die eigene künstlerische Praxis. Selbstorganisation und professionelle Weiterentwicklung stehen im Mittelpunkt dieser Gruppe.

The Art of Mattering and Re(membering) Resistances: Am Beispiel kollektiver Arbeiten der Recherchegruppe zur Schwarzen österreichischen Geschichte wird gemeinsam aus heutiger Sicht jenes erkämpfte, widerständige (Alltags)Wissens, das systematisch unbedeutend gemacht wird, transformativ „gematteret“ (Bedeutung gegeben). Wir sprechen über Möglichkeiten eines durchsetzungsfähigen Einflusses durch unsere Arbeiten.

Cultural Transformation Movement – Peer*Learning*Group

With the inaugural Cultural Transformation Movement (CTM) Peer*Learning*Group, the project office D/Arts and Brunnenpassage are launching a new initiative aimed at empowering artists and cultural practitioners in their artistic practices while initiating collective learning processes. Monthly in-person meetings and online sessions will offer diverse stimuli, skills, and networking opportunities with local and international experts from the cultural sector. The CTM LearningGroup focuses on articulating individual needs and collaboratively engaging in a power-sharing process through the contributions of invited facilitators.
This self-directed process spans several months and is designed for artists and cultural workers affected by discrimination within the cultural sector. Cultural practitioners are invited for exchange of experiences, mutual support, and acquainting themselves with new tools for navigating the field of art and cultural and enhancing their own artistic practices. Self-organization and professional development take center stage in this group

We are discussing possibilities for a forceful impact through our work.
